One day, Prince Genji comes across a blooming yuugao flower by the moat.

Intrigued, he instructs his attendant to fetch the blossom.

In response, a delicate young woman — Yuugao — places the flower atop a fan scented with incense and offers it to him.

On the fan, a graceful waka poem is written in beautiful handwriting.

Deeply moved, Genji composes a poem in reply.

Through this exchange of poetry, they gradually become attracted to each other.

"Kumiko" is a traditional Japanese woodworking technique that creates intricate patterns by fitting together thin pieces of wood without the use of nails.

Our new product ,“Incense Holder Kumiko”, features one of Kumiko's classic designs — the "Goma" (sesame) pattern, which is considered an auspicious motif symbolizing health and longevity.

The delicate overlapping lines and vibrant green color highlight the refined beauty of this traditional craft.
